Minutes- January 14, 2008
In Attendance: Mr. Cameron, Ms. Heffner, Vicki

Fundraisers:
Walk-a-thon: Prizes
need to be distributed.
Spaghetti Supper: This made $1393.45.
PTO Survey: We need to
set up a specific date. We may not do it at an open house.
Home Interiors/Tupperware:
This made $194. Only 9 students participated.
Reports:
Financial Report:
Reviewed new breakdown..
Crayons 2 Computers: Waiting to be called back.
Book Fair: Claire needs volunteers. This will be open Thursday,
Friday, Sunday ( (during open house) and Tuesday (during Lunch with a
Student).
Carnival: Would Mrs.
Stigler and Mrs. Peters be willing to do this again during the Fish Fry in
place of Organized Chaos?
Christmas Program: Very
few parents brought in cookies for after the concert. Judy suggested that
PTO buy refreshments for the Christmas and Spring Concerts.
Santa Shop: This went
well.
Air Conditioning: Ms.
Heffner has not heard from Mr. Bernert. Ms. Heffner will contact Steve
Bowman.
Everybody Counts:
This has been discontinued.
COSI on Wheels: Ken
Jackson has it set up.
Teachers Christmas
Dinner: Dinner was at the Embassy Suites.
Catholic Grade School
Band: Request for a parent interest survey of 3rd-7th
grade parents to see it there is enough interest to add to school. Ms.
Heffner said she would take it to the Education Commission.
Motion was made to have PTO
contribute to ISSE. This program was set up to be self-supporting.
