Minutes of St. Cecilia Booster Meeting, Oct 7, 2008 prepared by Suzanne Jackson

Attending –Paul Amend. John Bernert, Tom Buckley, Bill Elmore, Pat Habel, Ken Jackson, Suzanne Jackson, Maria McBreen, Eileen Smith

The meeting was opened with a prayer.

Treasurer – Paul Amend reported the income & expenditures for the months June-September.

Concessions – No Report

Membership – No Report

Soccer – Eileen Smith reported that there are a total of 87 players on St. Cecilia teams this fall.  All of the teams are doing well so far this season.  All players are wearing new uniforms; a total of 150 new uniforms were purchased.

Basketball – Ken Jackson reported that a total of 35 players have registered so far; several more have indicated an interest in playing on a team.  Several teams will be combined with players from Prince of Peace.  Depending upon the total number of players, there may be a need to purchase more uniforms.

New Business –

-         Requests for use of the gym during the school year must be made by September, as availability for hosting basketball games for CYO and EHGBL are made known by October.

Next Booster meeting will be held Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at 7:30pm in the Parish Center.
